February 27, 2008 - Meeting with Thai board in BANGKOK
February 21, 2008 - We fly out at 6am for Thailand
January 27, 2008 - Seth's 1st Birthday - we meet you in less than a month my sweet boy!
Jauary 24, 2008 - Carla, our social worker, came over to do an addendum . Our original home study will have expired by 5 days when we go to Thai board meeting.
January 23, 2008 - Tracy got Hep A, Tetanus, and Typhoid Fever shot.
January 23, 2008 - Received I-600 approval. Average wait is 8 weeks, we waited 16 weeks. Also mailed travel docs to Holt.
January 16, 2008 - Received travel call after only 3 days shy of 4 months. Travel docs were emailed same day. We were prepared for 7 to 9 months
October 11, 2007 - Submitted I-600 - Seth's application to receive his visa (should get approval within 8 weeks)
October 4, 2007 - Mailed Seth's first package to Thailand
October 1, 2007 - Fed Ex'd (2 day) approval papers to Holt - also sent introduction letter, photo album and disposable cameras to Seth
September 24, 2007 - Overnighted (Fed Ex) approval papers to Holt for Holt Sahathai (this gets our clock ticking for travel approval)
September 19, 2007 - Received our referral
May 23, 2007 - I-171H Approval
March 21, 2007 - Dossier arrived in Oregon (Holt)
February 28, 2007 - Joel fingerprinted
February 27, 2007 - Tracy fingerprinted
February 19, 2007 - Home Study Approved
February 6, 2007 - Patsakorn's mom gives up custody - Same day as we were invited to get fingerprinted. How Great Is Our God!!
February 6, 2007 - USCIS invitation to be fingerprinted (homestudy must be done first)
January 31, 2007 - USCIS Received Application for I-1600A
January 27, 2007 - Patsakorn Sae-an is born
January 2, 2007 - Mailed Adoption Application to Holt
November 2006 - Joel Traveled to Thailand on Mission Trip - God planted a seed in our hearts!
Wife to a great guy and mom to three trying my best to juggle the craziness of life. My heart is full and thankful. I want to remember my priorities and keep them in the correct order. I don't always get it right but life is not a sprint...it's a marathon.
