We are a family who adopted our sweet Thai boy and brought him home on March 4, 2008. He completes our family and makes us a house of 5. These are our adventures...
Congratulations on your adoption. I saw your comment on Thai Village Life and just had to come over and have a look at your blog.
I live in Bangkok and visit an orphanage here once a week to take care of a little girl called Mai-Cha-Ya. I'm planning to put together a scrap book of her early years which can go with her to her new family when she's matched.
It's lovely to see that the system is working and I wish you all the best for the future.
I've come over for a look too! Too hard to resist Thai babies and your little man is such a cutie. It sounds like such a long process, did I read correctly that you still have 8 more months? Lucky he'll be growing up speaking English though because Thai people can't pronounce 'th'!! Comes out sounding like Set. Very beautiful name though. Thanks for commenting on my blog..hope to see you again over there! :-)
We're hoping to see those moving vans anyone at the door of our neighbors that share our duplex. We don't want to bring our daughter into an environment where the next-door neighbors can be heard swearing, throwing furniture and dishes. Also, one day we came home to see the man being hauled off by the police. With our last 911 call I prayed that the landlady would call for some reason so I didn't need to voluntarily rat on the neighbors. That night she called and asked what's up nextdoor as their check bounced. So, I dare say, "Thank you, Lord!"? By-the-way, we're in the process of adopting a 12 year old girl from Thailand.
